Here is a link to an interesting profile of Judge Bernice B. Donald in the Bowling Green Daily News. Judge Donald is the Sixth Circuit’s newest judge, although she was confirmed nearly three years ago. There is presently one vacancy on the court, resulting from Judge Martin’s recent retirement. Presumably, that appointment will go to someone in Kentucky, and we recently reported on some rumors of possible nominations, but thusfar there has been no actual nomination from the White House.
