As regular followers of our blog know, we have been closely following the case making its way through the Sixth Circuit involving a constitutional challenge to the mandate requiring individuals to purchase health insurance under the recently enacted Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Public Law 111-148See Thomas More Law Center, et al. v. Obama, et al. (Sixth Circuit, Case No. 10-2388).  A detailed summary and analysis of the June 1 oral argument in this case is available here.

Recently, our very own Steve Delchin was asked to participate in a panel discussion regarding the health care challenges on the international radio network of Voice of Russia, which broadcasts in such international cities as New York, D.C., London, and Moscow.

Steve was joined on the panel discussion by Georgetown Law Professor Susan Low Bloch, who teaches constitutional law and is a former law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.  She has appeared on numerous television and radio programs on CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, Fox News Channel, and NPR.

Below is a link to the audio from Steve’s spirited discussion on the challenges to the health care statute.
